Beautiful vintage 1940s wired necklace, probably Chinese export, with carved stone beads alternating with clear faceted beads that are either glass or rock crystal. The carved stone beads include amethyst, what looks like one celadon jade bead, serpentine, carnelian, rose quartz, what looks like lapis or sodalite, and a large pale green bead that looks like flourite or some other quartz. In the 1960s and 1970s, Ciner specialized in costume jewelry inspired by the enameled gold and jeweled figural animal designs of the fine jewelry maker David Webb (these days Roberto Cavalli is the contemporary master of the costume version of this look). Very large vintage brooch in the form of an articulated fish, with brilliant crystal colorless stones and red stones as eyes. Marked FRANCE. C. 1950 or 1960; possibly a Roger Jean Pierre piece. All stones are prong set. With a French trombone clasp. The metal is silvertone.

Great size -- 5 1/4 inches long and just under 2 inches wide. Excellent condition. All stones are bright. There is a tiny darkened area at each tip of the tail but this is not noticeable at a short distance...

A fabulous and early vintage sterling necklace with square cut crystal stones and a huge pear shaped cut crystal drop. The clasp is marked STERLING and the other elements test positive for sterling. Circa 1920. Beautifully made and detailed. The edges of the square stone settings are engraved with delicate patterns. The stones are brilliant and glittering.

Very cute vintage layered plastic pin in white and navy blue in the form of a sailboat, with red painted detail. This is a French piece; several similar figural sailor pins are pictured in the 2003 edition of "Plastic Jewelry" by Lilian Baker, with updates by Ginger Moro and Karima Parry. This piece is 1960s or 1970s. From a Baltimore estate. I also have the matching sailor pin, from the same estate, listed.

Beautiful and rare early signed Carl Schon Baltimore silver and mother of pearl ring. With a huge bezel set mother of pearl piece with a three dimensional crab and frog facing each other, with asymmetrical dimensional shell motifs on each side of the shank.

Gorgeous vintage 1970s torsade necklace with 3 strands of carved round Chinese turquoise beads with a few freshwater pearl spacers, and 2 strands of large freshwater pearls. Filigree gold filled box slide clasp which marked 14K and a symbol for gold filled. The largest turquoise beads are 5mm and the pearls are 7mm. Wearable length is 21 inches. About 1 1/2 inches wide. Fabulous vintage French long sautoir with 24 large Gripoix glass beads, no two the same, and small glass based faux pearls, wired along a chain which is ornately detailed in the French style. Lovely vintage silver enameled link necklace by Margot Van Voorhies Carr. 1950s. Marked MARGOT DE TAXCO, STERLING MEXICO, with eagle number 16, and with design number 5614.
