Huge statement necklace in silvertone metal with a thick flat "gaspipe" or snake chain closing in the front at a heavy dark blue enameled center element, with a very unusual double snap closure. Marked MONET. 1970s. This "utility modern" look originated as part of the Machine Age style of the 1930s and enjoyed a revival in the 1970s and 1980s, and has been interpreted various ways in costume and fine jewelry, including by such makers as Cartier. Incredible very dimensional carved bangle with rose, leaf, and floral motifs. The floral motifs have "worm" style carving around the center flowers. Circa 1935. Tests positive for Bakelite. Beautiful vintage 1940s wired necklace, probably Chinese export, with carved stone beads alternating with clear faceted beads that are either glass or rock crystal. The carved stone beads include amethyst, what looks like one celadon jade bead, serpentine, carnelian, rose quartz, what looks like lapis or sodalite, and a large pale green bead that looks like flourite or some other quartz. A fabulous and early vintage sterling necklace with square cut crystal stones and a huge pear shaped cut crystal drop. The clasp is marked STERLING and the other elements test positive for sterling. Circa 1920. Beautifully made and detailed. The edges of the square stone settings are engraved with delicate patterns. The stones are brilliant and glittering.

An amazing and rare saphiret glass demi parure consisting of a necklace and matching clip back earrings. Marked KRAMER OF NY. Circa 1960. An outstanding find from a Philadelphia estate. Beautiful dimensional vintage pendant with a pale chartreuse adamite crystal stone, on a goldtone neckring. Circa 1960. The pendant is made of metal with a crackled gold finish, and is signed with a signature which I am not able to identify. A very distinctive modernist piece which is totally on trend. Crystal, agate, and geode stones in natural forms are being featured in many current jewelry collections this year.

Antique circa 1900 gateleg bracelet in 9KT gold with Persian turquoise stones and luminous moonstones. Marked 9CT using the English designation. It weighs 10 grams. The spring ring and opposite jump ring of the clasp are new replacements in 14KT gold, invisibly soldered by a professional jeweler. 3/8 inch wide and 7 1/2 inches wearable length. Adorable and sweet silver pin in the form of a turtle with beautifully variegated turquoise stones on its back, and red cabochon stones as eyes. Classic Arts & Crafts materials and form, circa 1900 or earlier. The pin back is gold, and may have been added or replaced more recently. A very charming little piece.

Lovely Art Deco pools of light necklace circa 1920 or 1930, made from 19 genuine rock crystal orbs, undrilled, held in silverplate wire, with a spring ring clasp and connecting jump rings. The clasp is marked but illegibly except for the number 211 in a cartouche. The metal is dark brass or other goldtone base metal with traces of silver or white gold plating, however most of the plating is lost.
