Huge statement size vintage unsigned necklace by the cult favorite maker Cadoro. A heavy cast goldtone metal Maltese cross pendant with drops is suspended from strands of large dimensional goldtone beads, some of which are French, and large seamless Lucite beads paired in alternating shades of green. Ornate thick rope twisted hook clasp. Circa 1965. I have seen signed Cadoro necklaces with the exact maltese cross element, and with the (very unusual) large round notched pattern beads...

Outstanding very big vintage Santo Domingo necklace with a double strand of turquoise free form beads and spiny oyster heishe beads, and two large jaclas with turquoise heishe beads and cream stone beads. With the original stringing done in the traditional manner, on heavy string with some ends visible. Collectors may wish to preserve this but it could certainly be restrung. Wearable length is 26 inches. The jaclas drop 5 inches. 286 grams. Excellent condition. Display form is life size...

Outstanding vintage Art Deco/Retro Moderne horse form figural brooch in ebonized carved wood with inlaid silver detail. Circa 1945. Unsigned, most likely by Elzac Inc., which produced jewelry from materials such as ceramic, Lucite, fur, feathers, cloth, and wood during World War II when other materials were in short supply.

Very big bracelet in sculpted goldtone with large and medium sized poured glass stones, probably by the French maker Gripoix, in two colors of yellow and orange topaz, by Lucien Piccard. 1970s. Marked LUCIEN PICCARD and numbered. Box slide clasp. The center section is slightly curved to conform to the wrist. 7 inches wearable length, 1 5/8 inches wide, and 1 inch deep at center stone. Wide antique hinged bangle in genuine tortoise shell, with gold mountings and a gold slide clasp. Late 19th century. Not marked but the metal tests positive for 14KT gold with jeweler's acid.

1 1/4 inches wide by 1/4 inch thick and 6 inches inside circumference. Very good condition. Clasp is tight. There are two very small outside chips at the hinge and a scratch inside one side. These do not show when the piece is worn. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Absolutely stunning very big Danish sterling silver modernist vintage 1960s statement size ring with luminous blue green abalone shell inlay, by Danish jewelry maker Arne Johansen. Marked 925S and DENMARK, and signed AJ. Ring size 7. Great size -- the top is 1 3/8 inches long, 5/8 inch wide, and stands 1/4 inch off the finger. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Stunning statement vintage 16 strand necklace of undyed natural Mediterranean salmon to red coral beads, with a large goldtone metal sliding element with cannetille wirework, and a matching goldtone metal hook clasp. Circa 1940. 17 1/2 inches long and about 1 inch wide. It weighs 126 grams. The beads are about 1/8 inch wide or 5mm by 4mm. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Fabulous vintage bib necklace which is most likely a Frank Hess design for Miriam Haskell, from the 1930s or 1940s. With graduated sizes of beautiful solid glass dark blue beads in lily form, mounted on chains in a characteristic Hess for Haskell style, and with long dimensional brass leaves. Stunning very unusual vintage 1970s pendant necklace in antiqued heavy cast goldtone metal, in the form of a crocodile with articulated links, suspended from a large ring with scale pattern texture, on a double chain with spring ring clasp. The crocodile has opaque black glass stones as eyes. Top designer quality, possibly French. Great size -- the pendant is 7 1/2 inches long including the ring. Wearable length is 17 inches. A fabulous antique garnet five strand beaded necklace with a garnet decorated slide clasp. Circa 1900, from a Philadelphia estate, and I also have listed a garnet hinged bangle from this same estate. The metal tests positive for 9KT gold with jeweler's acid. The large stones in the clasp are each about 5 mm in diameter, and the tiny stones are 2 mm. The garnet beads are each about 4 mm in diameter. Substantial at 112 grams; I counted 497 beads. Very wearable, for day or evening...

Fabulous very heavy and substantial early Anne Klein couture 1970s x stranded necklace with chain strung black glass slightly squared beads and round goldtone metal beads, with hook clasp with matching black glass stone in goldtone frame. Top couture quality. Marked ANNE KLEIN and with the Anne Klein lion logo on the attached metal tag. 18 1/2 inches wearable length, although it will fit closely because it is so thick, and about 2 inches wide. Excellent condition...

Lovely vintage gold and genuine salmon coral clip earrings by the San Francisco jeweler Gump's, known for its fine coral, jade, and pearl jewelry. Circa 1975. Marked 14K and GUMP'S. Together they weigh 9 grams. The color is a classic salmon coral, warmer than the photos depict. The earring backs are ready to be converted to pierced with the addition of a post.

Fabulous statement making asymmetrical necklace with a double sided genuine mabe pearl gold mounted station strung among very large black onyx round beads, hand knotted with black thread. Antique yellow gold engraved necklace chain, watch chain, or possibly a muff chain. Circa 1870. Not marked but all elements including end pieces test positive for 14KT gold using jeweler's acid. Very substantial at 37 grams. With thick links alternating between smooth links and heavily engraved links. Also with a swivel clasp piece on one end, and a gold ring on the other end. A fabulous and huge antique 14KT yellow gold ring with pearls and dark blue translucent enameling. Georgian, circa 1800. Not marked but tests positive for 14KT gold with jeweler's acid. With three 4 mm diameter pearls in the center, and 34 pearls around the frame, each 2 mm in diameter. With engraved flower form detail on each side and with matching dark blue enamel in the engraved areas. Heavy and substantial at 15 grams. An outstanding and very wearable cocktail size antique ring....

Chunky heavy early modernist ring with a large faceted genuine amethyst stone. With two tiny marks on the outside of the shank. One is 800 or 900 (I can't be sure which), for silver content, and the other is a tiny hallmark or maker's mark in a cartouche. Circa 1940. Most likely European, based on the silver content and the other mark. Very well worked, with deep parallel ridges, in a great Deco/modernist design. Heavy for its size at 20 grams. Ring size 6. The top is just over 3/4 ...

Fabulous clip earrings in heavy antiqued dark goldtone metal with prong set opaque white glass stones and matching white glass beads in filigree end caps. These are probably French, however they do have a very Haskellesque look (Haskell jewelry designers drew on French and Italian traditions for inspiration). Circa 1950 or 1960. Marked MARGOT DE TAXCO, STERLING MADE IN MEXICO, with eagle #16, and design number 5291. With her signature swan motif in a very stylized form. Very substantial at 75 grams/2.6 ounces. A fabulous piece from the estate of a serious Baltimore collector.
