A fabulous antique garnet five strand beaded necklace with a garnet decorated slide clasp. Circa 1900, from a Philadelphia estate, and I also have listed a garnet hinged bangle from this same estate. The metal tests positive for 9KT gold with jeweler's acid. The large stones in the clasp are each about 5 mm in diameter, and the tiny stones are 2 mm. The garnet beads are each about 4 mm in diameter. Substantial at 112 grams; I counted 497 beads. Very wearable, for day or evening...

Wide antique hinged bangle in genuine tortoise shell, with gold mountings and a gold slide clasp. Late 19th century. Not marked but the metal tests positive for 14KT gold with jeweler's acid.

1 1/4 inches wide by 1/4 inch thick and 6 inches inside circumference. Very good condition. Clasp is tight. There are two very small outside chips at the hinge and a scratch inside one side. These do not show when the piece is worn. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Fabulous antique 14KT gold mounted earrings with exceptionally detailed and executed Neoclassical shell cameos set in Etruscan revival wiretwist frames. With shepherd's hook backs. Circa 1860. Fabulous and early vintage yellow gold and carved jade drop screwback earrings with Chinese motifs. Circa 1925. Not marked, but they test positive for at least 14KT gold. Together they weigh 4 grams. The carving on the drops is double sided and photos show both sides.

Early vintage drop pendant necklace in 14KT yellow gold with carved apple jade beads, a carved jade medallion in apple jade with hints of spinach, and a center drop in carved pierced apple jade. The carved motifs are Chinese in form. 1920s or 1930s. Marked 14K on the clasp and tests positive for 14KT gold. It weighs 9 grams. From a Baltimore estate. Beautiful vintage fringed necklace in goldtone metal in heavy twisted circular links, with black glass cabochon stones and matching teardrop shaped black glass beads. With its original hang tag, which is marked BIJOUX FIASCHI, CREAZIONI DI ALTA MODA - FIRENZE - OSCAR 1969. The back of the tag is marked MADE IN ITALY. The firm of Bijoux Fiaschi designed for Emilio Pucci in the 1960s, and won an Italian award called the Oscar del Bijoux, in 1969. This piece is probably 1970s.

Not marked but the style of chain, and the overall look, is characteristically French, and it came from an estate with other signed French jewelry. Probably 1970s.
