Stunning vintage fringed necklace in textured goldtone metal with very big glass based teardrop shaped baroque faux pearls, modernist oblong chain link elements, and decorated connecting links. 1960s. Not marked, however, the design, materials and findings are characteristically French. I have another necklace listed with these distinctive chain links. Wearable length is 16 inches and width is 2 inches. Excellent condition. There are two oblong chain links at the end opposite the hook clasp, versus three at the hook end, however, this does not show when the necklace is clasped. Photos enlarged to show detail.
