Amazing and huge early vintage Kenneth J. Lane hinged bangle bracelet with two snake or dragon heads, with yellow enameling, opaque glass cabochons simulating coral, green poured glass stones as eyes, and pave rhinestones. 1960s. In textured goldtone metal. Marked K.J.L. in a cartouche. A very dramatic piece.

Great size -- 3 1/2 inches wide at center and 3/4 inch wide at the back. Inside circumference when completely closed is 6 1/2 inches, however it will expand to fit most wrists.

Very good condition. There is slight wear to the finish only on the inside edges where the two sides meet. This does not show when the piece is worn. One of the snake heads does not have enameling on either side of its nose. My guess is that the missing enamel was a manufacturing omission because the recesses are so deep that it is hard to see how it could have been damaged, and there are no traces of enamel in this area. The difference between the two heads is not noticeable. Photos enlarged to show detail.
