Vintage Chanel drop necklace in finely worked goldtone metal in the style of the Roman/Byzantine era primitive gold jewelry which was one of Chanel's many influences. Asymmetric design with a large drop and chains on either end terminating in a large spring ring clasp. Circa 1970. Marked CHANEL in block letters. I am also listing the matching earrings. Beautiful statement size necklace made from very large glass melon shaped beads with a fine herringbone impressed design. Definitely French, and a possible Rousselet. Circa 1960. The pink beads are simulating rose quartz and are made in a givre style: transparent with cloudy "inclusions." The pink beads are spaced with transparent peach glass disk shaped beads, and rondelles with brilliant colorless strass stones...

The designer Ugo Correani has had his own label since the 1970s, and also has designed jewelry for Valentino, Fendi, and Versace, as well as Karl Lagerfeld and Christian Lacroix. Fabulous French necklace in dark goldtone metal with five swagged chains suspending a quatrefoil element with fired enameling in green, red, black, and white, and a long tasselled pendant. The clasp has matching enameling. The quatrefoil and the clasp are made from French filigree elements. The clasp hooks on both sides and can be opened from either side. Circa 1950. Many French makers, including Chanel, have used this necklace design. Wearable length is 17 1/2 inches...

Very glam necklace with gunmetal gray glass beaded strands and with a black Lucite pendant with brilliant colorless Swarovski stones and enameled decoration, in an Art Deco revival style.
