A possible early unsigned Chanel in black glass, brass and with a glass faux pearl in the center of the pendant, this piece is marked MADE IN FRANCE on the back of the pendant. Circa 1935. The pendant slides on the chain, which has oblong links and stations with black glass beads and filigree metal elements. The pendant has a large round black glass element with the faux pearl in the center, and faceted edges, set in a filigree frame.

Yves Saint Laurent YSL Enameled Hinged Bangle Greens

A fabulous antique garnet five strand beaded necklace with a garnet decorated slide clasp. Circa 1900, from a Philadelphia estate, and I also have listed a garnet hinged bangle from this same estate. The metal tests positive for 9KT gold with jeweler's acid. The large stones in the clasp are each about 5 mm in diameter, and the tiny stones are 2 mm. The garnet beads are each about 4 mm in diameter. Substantial at 112 grams; I counted 497 beads. Very wearable, for day or evening....

Wide antique hinged bangle in genuine tortoise shell, with gold mountings and a gold slide clasp. Late 19th century. Not marked but the metal tests positive for 14KT gold with jeweler's acid.

1 1/4 inches wide by 1/4 inch thick and 6 inches inside circumference. Very good condition. Clasp is tight. There are two very small outside chips at the hinge and a scratch inside one side. These do not show when the piece is worn. Photos enlarged to show detail.
