Beautiful Bakelite necklace of graduated smooth round beads simluating cherry amber, with a hidden screw barrel clasp. Tests positive for Bakelite and guaranteed old and original. Stunning necklace with very large opaline glass beads simulating moonstones, and very large colorless faceted crystal beads. Probably French, circa 1960. Outstanding construction; all the beads are wired with heavy brass wires. It is a long strand with two layers; I have shown it doubled and worn shorter with a necklace extender and I will provide one free of charge. Wearable length is 34 inches.
