Fabulous pair of signed Ciner horse form hinged bangle bracelets with fired enameling and glass stones. In the 1960s and 1970s, Ciner specialized in costume jewelry inspired by the enameled gold and jeweled figural animal designs of the fine jewelry maker David Webb. Ciner specialized in producing costume jewelry which exactly simulated fine jewelry. Circa 1965. Both are marked CINER. Goldtone metal with black enameling and glass cabochon stones, with colorless rhinestones. Slide clasps. One has green eyes and a red stone at the bit and the other has cognac amber color eyes and an opaque black stone at the bit. All stones are glass. Great size -- each is 7/8 inch deep at the head and 7 1/4 inches inside circumference. Inside diameters are 2 1/2 and 2 inches. Both are in excellent condition. They are the same size and shape; one or two pictures are slightly distorted because of camera angle and perspective. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.
