This piece is most likely French; the long glass rod shaped beads and the fob form charm are French elements. A fabulous dramatic piece. Beautiful French necklace with amazing huge green melon shaped beads, small red glass spacer beads, and brilliant rhinestone rondelles held in dark brasstone metal. Possibly an early Chanel. It has been professionally restrung. There are probably one or more green beads missing, as they are not exactly perfectly graduated, however, this is not extremely noticeable when worn. There are also rhinestones missing from some of the rondelles; these have been strung at the back...
