Runway size vintage circa 1970 tribal style bib collar necklace in dark hammered brass with long drops and matching hook catch and extender chain. It makes an amazing couture statement. Great size -- about 15 inches inside circumference, including the gap, and can be adjusted slightly smaller or larger. The center drops 8 inches. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Beautiful French necklace with amazing huge green melon shaped beads, small red glass spacer beads, and brilliant rhinestone rondelles held in dark brasstone metal. Possibly an early Chanel. It has been professionally restrung. There are probably one or more green beads missing, as they are not exactly perfectly graduated, however, this is not extremely noticeable when worn. Fabulous stunning antique 19th century gunmetal/Berlin iron long collet set crystal sautoir necklace with purple pointed stones. Mid to late 19th century, probably French. These necklaces were also originally used as muff chains, hanging the fur muff around the wearer's neck, where it would fall at about waist length.
