Fabulous torsade necklace with a sliding pendant, in aged brass, with purple and jade beads and "Peking" glass accents. 1930s French. I have owned a signed French necklace with the same repousse enameled decoration. The necklace has a strand of purple glass beads wrapped around several strands of twisted brass wire in classic French style. The torsade ends in filigree caps, large green and purple glass beads, and a screw barrel clasp...

Beautiful vintage French Art Deco long sautoir necklace with wired glass bead groups in opaque red and black, and clear crystal, on dark brass tone wire with screw barrel clasp. 1970s or earlier. All beads are glass. The groups of beads are arranged in alternating patterns. 38 inches wearable length and 1/2 inches wide. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Beautiful French necklace with amazing huge green melon shaped beads, small red glass spacer beads, and brilliant rhinestone rondelles held in dark brasstone metal. Possibly an early Chanel. It has been professionally restrung. There are probably one or more green beads missing, as they are not exactly perfectly graduated, however, this is not extremely noticeable when worn. There are also rhinestones missing from some of the rondelles; these have been strung at the back...

Fabulous stunning antique 19th century Berlin iron long collet set crystal sautoir necklace. Mid to late 19th century, probably French. These necklaces were also originally used as muff chains, hanging the fur muff around the wearer's neck, where it would fall at about waist length.
