Vintage 1970s drop clip earrings in iridescent transparent purple glass mounted in dark brass tone metal. Marked MADE IN FRANCE. The drops have embedded brass wire and hang from fine brass chains. Gorgeous big statement vintage 1970s or earlier Santo Domingo Native American necklace with large graduated turquoise nuggets spaced with small shell heishe beads, and with heishe beads at the ends, and with small silver wire hook clasp. It weighs 191 grams. 25 inches wearable length and the largest bead is 1 3/8 inches wide. Gorgeous super long 1970s or 1980s necklace with cobalt blue poured glass beads hand knotted in a continuous strand with matching blue thread. Super luxe and sumptuous. Huge statement necklace in silvertone metal with a thick flat "gaspipe" or snake chain closing in the front at a heavy dark blue enameled center element, with a very unusual double snap closure. Marked MONET. 1970s. This "utility modern" look originated as part of the Machine Age style of the 1930s and enjoyed a revival in the 1970s and 1980s, and has been interpreted various ways in costume and fine jewelry, including by such makers as Cartier. Wearable length is about 19 inches...

In the 1960s and 1970s, Ciner specialized in costume jewelry inspired by the enameled gold and jeweled figural animal designs of the fine jewelry maker David Webb (these days Roberto Cavalli is the contemporary master of the costume version of this look). This piece is circa 1975. It is marked CINER, but so faintly on the tongue of the clasp that I was unable to get a clear photo. It did come from an estate with other signed Ciner pieces...

Gorgeous vintage 1970s torsade necklace with 3 strands of carved round Chinese turquoise beads with a few freshwater pearl spacers, and 2 strands of large freshwater pearls. Filigree gold filled box slide clasp which marked 14K and a symbol for gold filled. The largest turquoise beads are 5mm and the pearls are 7mm. Wearable length is 21 inches. About 1 1/2 inches wide. Adorable unusual vintage circa 1970 cocktail ring in the form of a zebra, in goldtone metal with fired enameling, with opaque black faceted stones as eyes, and colorless rhinestones accenting the ears and nose.
