Stunning and very weighty and substantial bib necklace with huge colorless stones in heavy thick cast goldtone openback metal settings with ornate decoration and crown form prongs. The small drops are set with dog tooth prongs. With goldtone metal extender chain. The construction and stones suggest this is a French piece. Circa 1950 or 1960. 16 1/2 inches wearable length and drops 2 1/8 inches in the center. The largest stone is 5/8 inch wide. Excellent condition. One stone is darkened, fourth from one end. This is not noticeable when worn and all other stones are brilliant. Photos enlarged to show detail.
