Possibly made for Dior, this lovely necklace with matching clip earrings has the distinctive S shaped hook which was frequently used on Dior necklaces. One earring is marked FRANCE. Circa 1960. In goldtone metal with large glass based faux pearls, opaque topaz stones, and chain tassels. In a longer length which is currently very fashionable. The necklace has a wearable length of 22 inches. The center drops 3 1/2 inches and is 3 inches wide. The earrings are 1/2 inch in diameter. Excellent condition. There is a spot of verdigris on the back of one tassel however it does not show from the front. Photos enlarged to show detail.
