Beautiful heavy and drapable rope necklace with graduated rose quartz beads carved with Chinese motifs. The clasp tests positive for 10KT gold. Circa 1925. The beads vary from very translucent to mostly opaque, and the color is a lovely pink which is warmer than the photos depict. It has been professionally restrung for security. The beads range in size from 14 mm to 6 mm in diameter. 35 inches long and 1/2 inch wide in the center. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.
