Stunning necklace with very large opaline glass beads simulating moonstones, and very large colorless faceted crystal beads. Probably French, circa 1960. Outstanding construction; all the beads are wired with heavy brass wires. It is a long strand with two layers; I have shown it doubled and worn shorter with a necklace extender and I will provide one free of charge. Wearable length is 34 inches. Each opaline bead is 20 mm long and each crystal bead is 10 mm in diameter. Excellent condition. One opaline bead has a tiny chip, which is not at all noticeable. Photos enlarged to show detail.
