Amazing vintage 1980s long necklace by Gerda Lynggaard for Monies. Large carved round horn beads are hand knotted in a long continuous strand with two green hardstone carved huge beads, one oblong and one round. Marked GERDA LYNGGAARD MONIES COPENHAGEN on attached round metal tag. 68 inches wearable length and the largest bead is 1 1/4 inches wide. Excellent condition. Some naturally occurring lines and splits along some of the horn beads, all are completely stable and not noticeable when worn. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.
