Simply adorable very chic small bag in black genuine lizard with heavy cast goldtone metal elements holding the handle. The metal elements are set with brilliant colorless rhinestones. Circa 1950 or 1960. Snap tab clasp. Pleated corners. The handle is covered in lizardskin. The inside of the lid has a mirror which is marked with maker's name and initials: BD BIENEN DAVIS. Pale peach satin lining. 7 1/2 inches wide, 5 inches long, and 3 inches deep. The handle drop is 3 inches. Excellent condition with some tiny corner losses to the exterior, not visible at a short distance. The mirror is fairly foxed and there is wear on the inside metal frame. Display form is life size.
