Fabulous unusual circa 1980 signed YSL necklace with three strands of large carved natural agate beads, two strands in a medium soft green, and one strand in a deep deep blue-green. The clasp and center drop are beautifully detailed cast goldtone metal with millegrain applied metal beads. The center drop has a leaf form element surmounting two circular elements connected by two strands of tiny carved light green agate beads. The clasp has matching leaf form elements, and three heart shaped links to clasp, each signed YVES SAINT LAURENT in script, and a toggle close. Also marked YSL and MADE IN FRANCE, and numbered, on the back of the drop. Wearable length is 20 inches. The center drops 4 inches. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.
