Not sure if raisin is an "official" Bakelite color name, but it best describes the unusual rich deep brown with purple undertones color of this hinged bangle. Circa 1940. Tests positive for Bakelite. Guaranteed vintage and original. From a collection. With excellent very deep carving in a roses and leaves motif. Excellent condition. The hinge is tight. It is a bit dusty; I have brushed it but have not cleaned it further so as not to disturb the oxidized finish...

Lovely vintage natural undyed Mediterranean coral necklace in a medium red or dark salmon color, with two sizes of carved rounded beads, and a silver filigree clasp. Circa 1950. It has been professionally restrung on softflex wire which drapes beautifully. 41 inches wearable length and 1/4 inch wide. The larger beads are about 6mm by 5mm. It weighs 54 grams. Fabulously drapable, flexible and wearable necklace by the Italian brother and sister team of Lyda Coppola Toppo and Bruno Coppola. They worked for many French and Italian designers, including Jacques Fath, Robert Piguet, Emilio Pucci, and Valentino. This piece is circa 1970. Aqua faceted glass beads are connected with fine filament, and bordered with rows of glass based baroque faux pearls, and draped with festoons of metal chains in a rose goldtone color...

In the signature Chanel colors of red and green, and marked MADE IN FRANCE on the screw barrel clasp, this fabulous necklace is probably by Chanel. Circa 1940, in moghul style, with aged brass chains, large and small glass based faux pearls, red glass beads, and huge teardrop shaped green glass beads. 15 3/4 inches wearable length. Lovely Art Deco pools of light necklace circa 1920 or 1930, made from 14 genuine rock crystal orbs, undrilled, held in sterling silver wire, with dainty decorative connecting links, and a hook close. Guaranteed genuine rock crystal; images viewed through the orbs are shown upside down and backwards. The orbs are 13mm in diameter. Nice size -- 18 inches wearable length. Fabulous signed Gucci goldtone metal and blue guilloche enameled link long necklace which can also be worn as a belt. Marked GUCCI and MADE IN ITALY. Each link is also marked S in a lozenge shape. 1970s. An iconic vintage Gucci piece, these were also made in shorter (18 to 20 inch) but otherwise identical versions to be worn as necklaces only. The enameled links are slightly convex and curved. They alternate with heavy twisted connecting rings. With a toggle close. Total length is 39 inches...
