The beads are mid to late 19th century, most likely cut in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. They have tiny facets visible on close inspection, indicating that they were hand cut and finished. Sumptuous very long early vintage salmon angel skin coral necklace with round beads, all between 3mm and 4mm. Circa 1920. Recently professionally restrung on very fine soft flex wire with a new clasp. The spring ring of the clasp is 14K, the rest of the clasp and end pieces are gold filled.
