Fabulous statement making vintage 1970s necklace with a heavy wide openwork snake chain, a huge Bakelite pendant simulating jade with an engraved goldtone coiled element, and glass faux coral and turquoise cabochon stones. The large stone is set in dogtooth prongs. The chain has an engraved end cap. Marked ALICE CAVINESS. The necklace hooks at the pendant to close. Weighty and substantial and drapes beautifully. I am selling the matching drop earrings in a separate listing. Excellent condition. 25 inches wearable length and 3/8 inch wide at snake chain. Pendant is 3 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide.
