Stunning large antique pendant / brooch. Georgian, circa 1800. Not marked but tests positive for 9 KT gold. With a very large amethyst surrounded by tiny rubies and emeralds, accented by sea pearls, with a large sea pearl pendant hanging from a bow form element. With a C catch pin back and a hinged pendant loop. It weighs 14 grams. 2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. Excellent condition. The tiny pearls on the bow form detail at the bottom of the main piece have some nacre loss; this is not noticeable at a short distance. Photos enlarged to show detail.
