Unsigned but most definitely by Schreiner, this fabulous set has a very large and dimensional pendant suspended from a goldtone metal braided chain. The pendant has a huge marbled blue glass stone surrounded by layers of pale green glass cabochons, and pale blue and raspberry glass faceted stones. The pendant has a drop with matching stones and a matching raspberry poured glass bead. The clip earrings have matching stones and beads. Many Schreiner pieces were made for designers such as Christian Dior, Norman Norell, Pauline Trigere, and others, and were unsigned because they were made to be shown or sold as accessories to the designer's couture clothing collection. Signed Schreiner pieces were made to be sold individually in stores. Key Schreiner construction elements on this set include the inverted faceted stones, the rhinestone extender chain, the dogtooth prongs on the center stone, and the back hook and eye construction. The necklace has a wearable length of 16 inches. The pendant is 4 3/4 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 1 inch deep. The earrings are 1 3/4 inches long. Excellent condition.
