Vintage French necklace with a huge green Gripoix poured glass center drop surmounted by a fluted goldtone disk shaped bead, chunky resin faux pearls, and disk shaped goldtone metal elements with matching green poured glass cabochons. With hook clasp and textured extender chain in goldtone metal. Marked FRANCE on the hook of the clasp. Circa 1960 or 1970. A fabulous piece in a great statement size and perfectly of the moment; the statement necklace is the "it" accessory of the season. Wearable length is 16 inches. The sides are 7/8 inch wide. The center drop is 2 3/8 inches long. Excellent condition. Four of the faux pearls have very slight color variations due to age. This is not noticeable. Photos enlarged to show detail.
