A fabulous vintage Chinese sterling bracelet with large jade cabochons and beautifully detailed figural decorations executed in a layered shadowbox technique, with an openwork panel over a backing panel. Each of the four figures are different. Marked MADE IN CHINA in a diamond shaped cartouche, with an illegible word before the word China. Tests positive for sterling silver. Circa 1900 - 1930. Very substantial at 3.1 ounces/88 grams and drapes beautifully because of its weight. With a slide clasp and safety chain. A very special Chinese piece.
