A fabulous collar necklace in clear Lucite with a textured goldtone center element/clasp in the form of a stylized snake with very large inset hematite stones. Circa 1985. The front clasp is magnetic and the back is hinged. The Lucite elements are solid, of course, and brilliantly clear. This piece is probably French; I have seen similar unsigned pieces identified as French. Perfectly of the moment; clear Lucite accessories are a very significant current fashion trend and many designers are featuring them.
