Very beautiful Dominique Aurientis Byzantine style necklace with a long wired chain of large Gripoix poured glass beads in two shades of topaz, a heavy goldtone metal toggle clasp, and a large cruciform pendant with matching stones, and pyramid shaped applied metal decorations. Chain and pendant are marked DOMINIQUE AURIENTIS PARIS. 1990s. I am also listing the matching earrings separately. Dominique Aurientis began her design career at Christian Dior, and worked for Givenchy and Isabel Canovas before starting her own line in 1987. In the 1980s and 1990s her designs were sold at Bergdorf Goodman, Nieman Marcus, and I. Magnin, as well as in boutiques in Europe and Asia. 30 inches wearable length. The pendant is 3 1/2 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide. The beads are 10mm in diameter. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.
