Very glam necklace with gunmetal gray glass beaded strands and with a black Lucite pendant with brilliant colorless Swarovski stones and enameled decoration, in an Art Deco revival style. The glass beaded strands are caught in matching black Lucite end stations, and the hook catch and extender chains are silvertone metal. Late 1970s or early 1980s. Marked U. CORREANI and MADE IN ITALY. By the late Italian designer Ugo Correani, who had his own label beginning in the 1970s, and also designed jewelry for Valentino, Fendi, and Versace, as well as Karl Lagerfeld and Christian Lacroix. Wearable length is 19 inches anad it drops 2 7/8 inches. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. Display form is life size.
