Outstanding vintage necklace in heavy gunmetal gray chain links with quatrefoil shaped elements which are made of translucent tortoise Bakelite. This piece can also be worn as a belt. Marked YSL on an attached metal tag. 1970s. The quatrefoil form is of course a classic medieval and Moorish motif and is here translated into a stunning modern look. Very wearable and versatile -- there is a hook at each end, allowing it to be arranged in many lengths and configurations...

Stunning vintage necklace in YSL's signature bohemian chic style, with seamless black Lucite beads, goldtone metal beads and drops, and black silk tassels, all strung on a fine metal chain in typical French construction. Circa 1970 or 1980. Marked YSL on the attached hang tag. Wearable length is 16 1/2 inches and it drops 3 1/2 inches in the center. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. Beautiful huge statement signed YSL necklace in antiqued goldtone with three tiers of chains with large Byzantine style coin form drops of varying sizes and designs. 1970s. Some of the coins are two sided. Marked YSL on the attached metal tag, and also marked YSL on the S shaped hook close. Wearable length is 18 1/4 inches (inside strand) and center drops 8 inches.
